- Display inside the new Michael’s on the Upper West Side
Bring out your creative side with the grand opening of Michael’s, a craft superstore that recently made its way to the Upper West Side. The giant shop filled with all the paint, knitting materials, and holiday decor you could ever imagine is currently holding their pre-grand opening until October 24th. The pre-ribbon cutting event includes the “make your own sale” in which any one regular priced item is 40 percent off. To get this deal, grab a flyer from someone standing outside the store or one of the nearby subway entrances.
On Sunday October 25th, the ribbon will be cut at the grand opening, followed by a week of free events. Attend the in-store adult mask making demo conducted by Jo Pearson at 2pm, then on Monday Martha Stewart will be in store at 5pm signing copies of her new book, Martha Stewart’s Encyclopedia of Crafts. On Wednesday at 5pm, Jo Pearson will be teaching “duck-tivities” or how to create items with duck tape. For fabulous discounts and free events, make sure to stop by Michael’s at 808 Columbus Avenue, just a couple blocks away from available space for lease 2626 Broadway.
