Eat Washington Heights

New Leaf restaurant in Washington Heights

Are you an East Village eater? Upper West Side diner? Downtown Brooklyn food connoisseur? Explore new territory in one of the city’s most hidden gem food neighborhoods– Washington Heights. With a variety of dining choices and menus from around the globe, the heights is worth a brunch, lunch or dinner trip. I’ve picked out three spots to visit in this underrated neighborhood.

Parkview, 219 Dyckman Street

This diner-esque eatery is known for its infamous breakfast menu. Serving melt-in-your-mouth challah french toast and towering egg sandwiches, it’s a fabulous location for a morning fuel-up. Parkview’s friendly staff and laid back atmosphere top off the dining experience. If you aren’t a morning person, the restaurant is also known for its burger and sweet potato fries combo.

New Leaf, 1 Margret Corbin Drive

Sitting in Tryon Park, New Leaf  is an escape from the hustle of city life. Its modern American menu is inspired by local green markets, upstate New York farms, and park gardens, only using the freshest ingredients. Patrons lounge in the cottage-like dining room, enjoying dishes like the portobello mushroom wrap, duck confit, and fried vegetable ravioli.

Bleu Evolution, 808 W. 187th Street

Bleu Evolution boasts an extensive Italian menu and a funky decor. Serving up dishes like ricotta gnocchi, seafood diavolo, and the freshest pastas, the restaurant’s food is just one reason to make the journey to 187th street. On top of the cuisine, the restaurant offers a back patio dining area for the warm weather months and a popular drink menu.

After your meal stop by our newest space for lease on 181st Street and Bennett Avenue. With leasing options galore, it’s an ideal spot for a clothing boutique, a gym, shoe shop, or other retail use. Call 212-213-6480 for leasing information.
